The idea was presented to me through my vice-principal, Daniel Bollinger, that I would have the opportunity to be a part of a group known as Neural Activity. Seeing as this is the first group being established and I was asked to become a part of it I was deeply honored. I am excited with the opportunity to help the young kids within the community in such a direct and important way. Our first meeting is coming up in the next couple of months where I will be able to give my thoughts on the problems and solutions possible for the drug problem within the county and within the schools. I am excited to work collectively with kids through the problem to try and make a positive impact within the community.
Also illegal drug use is an issue throughout the nation and the world and having the opportunity to make even a small impact in the way of keeping children from that offence is something that I am passionate about.
